We specifically made a reservation at the Depot because we wanted to try their Amer Depot, since we've been wanting to make a Picon Punch. We are glad that we did! Note, we didn't eat a full meal so we can only comment on our tasting experience. Here's what we experienced: - We had a 4pm reservation for the bar and when we arrived the place was very empty. The only bad thing is that the place didn't record that we had arrived so later that evening I got an email from Open Table dinging me for being a supposed "no show". - Our experience at the bar was really fun. We ordered a flight of Spirits (which happened to be $2 off for Happy Hour. We also ordered some crispy Brussels Sprouts to munch on during our tasting. The spirits were very tasty, as were the spourts! - Our server was really informative providing lots of information about the history of The Depot, its building, etc. - The place is beautiful inside and very comfortable...they've really done a nice job maintaining the historical features of the building. Bottom line: Our time at The Depot was very fun...even though we bought a couple of bottles (bought of bottle of their Rye Whiskey and the Amer Depot), we really want to try their beers and so we'll be returning very soon!

Stopped in on a Saturday night to try their beer. We got the vaquero and ranch hand. Both are very yummy. We didn't get anything to eat this time but we ate here in the past and the food is good. The bartender was very nice and we'll be back.

Easily made a reservation for 8 people an hour before our reservation through the phone, super friendly staff! Upon arriving we were seated in the first floor at high top tables, the restaurant was very spacious and well decorated. We ordered the strawberry sour, raspberry sour and beekeeper. The strawberry sour was delicious and the beekeeper was very honey filled, would recommend. For food I had ordered the Depot Burger (medium well) recommended by the waiter and it was incredibly delicious and flavorful! Service was fantastic and we got our food very quickly. Definitely a place to check out and a quick 10 minute walk from the casino area.

Was saying at one of The Row's hotels and stumbled upon this brewery on Yelp! I love beer and trying new breweries, since it was a walkable distance from the hotel, I decided to give this place a try (it's also way cheaper than the food offered at the hotels). The brewery is built inside an old train station (I think) which gives it a very rustic vibes. I think the interior is beautiful designed, we came around noon on the weekend and it was empty. They had a great brunch selection and a variety of beer. The staff was attentive and were able to help with beer selection as well was served us in an orderly fashion. Beer flight was $10 when we went. Sunrise Sammy 6/10 - So much jalapenos inside, the potatoes were massive. Sandwich was good until the sauce sogged the bread up and everything broke apart. The bottom bun was too thin. Avocado board 8/10 - a good portion of everything, had some veggies, potatoes and a lot of avocado (surprising because that giant cup of avocado would have been expensive in California). For both dishes' potatoes, it was lightly salted which was perfect to our tasting.

Came here for a rehearsal dinner and it was nice because I got to try a lot of different dishes buffet style. This was my first and only time coming here and I didn't see a menu, so I am not sure if the food I tried was part of the regular offerings. We had the entire upstairs for our private party and it was great. The depot is so cute inside, despite where it is located. The staff was all great and worked fast and efficiently, which is especially important when you have such a big party. The Brussel sprouts were fire. That was my favorite thing I tried. So delicious. I also tried some meat balls, some mashed potatoes, salad, chicken and tri tip I believe. It was all pretty good! I preferred the regular salad over the kale Caesar but both were good. I'm looking forward to coming back and experiencing the depot as a regular party

I just recently relocated back to Reno a few months ago and I've visited The Depot more than any other joint in town. I'm obsessed with this place! The patio is perfect for bringing a dog with nice weather, and inside is neat/fun. Their kale Caesar salad is one of my all time faves. I can't get enough of it. Stopped in last week while in town visiting my girls and it was so great, I went back a second time. The depot is a distillery as well as a brewery producing their own beer, gin, whiskey and bourbon. Served up along side some of the best bites I've had in a long time. The food was fresh, well seasoned and proportioned and all priced affordable. The restaurant itself is large, inviting and decorated nicely. The upstairs space is reserved for private functions (will keep this in mind when planning my girls future UNR graduations) and the staff were friendly and attentive. This will be my first stop next month when I head back!

The depot is a cool place for an evening out. They craft a lineup of awesome beers in all different flavor profiles. There really is something for everyone. They also distill their own spirits and have a menu of creative cocktails made with them. The dinner menu is small, but solid. They serve pub favorites like fish and chips and burgers along with other options. I chose the whipped feta as my dinner option and it was very good! I love the combo of feta, spices, honey and pistachios. I tried two cocktails. The first was called 4th st fling. The guava syrup convinced me, but the flavor combo was a little strange. The second called rum on ralston was much more enjoyable! The service was great even though we had a big party!
